How to do the Barbell Band-Assisted Deadlift
- 1Set up a barbell on the floor and attach resistance bands to a stable overhead structure.
- 2Position the resistance bands so they assist you in lifting the barbell.
- 3Stand with your feet hip-width apart and grasp the barbell with an overhand grip.
- 4Lower your hips and bend your knees slightly, keeping your back straight.
- 5Lift the barbell by extending your hips and knees to a standing position.
- 6Lower the barbell back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
