How to do the Dumbbell One-Arm Overhead Lunge

  1. 1Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in one hand.
  2. 2Raise the dumbbell overhead, keeping your arm fully extended.
  3. 3Step forward with one leg and lower your hips until both knees are bent at about a 90-degree angle.
  4. 4Ensure your front knee is directly above your ankle and your back knee is just above the ground.
  5. 5Push through your front heel to return to the starting position.
  6. 6Repeat the movement with the same arm and leg, then switch sides.
