How to do the Standing One-Leg Calf Raise
- 1Stand on the edge of a step or staircase with one foot, letting your heel hang off the edge.
- 2Hold onto a railing or wall for balance if needed.
- 3Raise your heel as high as possible, contracting your calf muscle.
- 4Lower your heel back down below the level of the step to stretch the calf.
- 5Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch to the other leg.
